We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and do the job. That can include:

• Contact details such as your name, phone number, email address, suburb and postcode.
• Property details such as the address of the property, the type of property and any access instructions.
• Job details such as the pest you're dealing with, what you've noticed, photos or videos you send us, and the treatments we carry out.
• Health and safety information you choose to share, for example allergies, chemical sensitivities, pregnancy or pets in the home. We only collect this with your consent and only use it to carry out treatment safely.
• Payment and invoicing records.
• Website usage information collected by Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies. See Cookies and analytics.
• Technical data. When you visit this website, our hosting provider records standard information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used for security and to keep the site running.

• When you fill in the quote form or the chat form on this website.
• When you call us, message us on WhatsApp, email us or contact us through Facebook.
• When we inspect or treat your property.

You don't have to give us your personal information. If you'd rather stay anonymous, you can call and ask a general question without giving your name. To quote, book or carry out work, though, we need your contact details.

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
• To book, carry out and follow up on inspections and treatments.
• To issue invoices and keep business records.
• To meet our legal obligations.
• To improve our services.

We won't send you marketing messages unless you agree to receive them, and you can opt out at any time. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

We share personal information only where it's needed for the purposes above:

• Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and receives the details you submit through our quote and chat forms.
• Google provides our email service. If you choose to load the map on our contact page, it is provided by Google Maps.
• Meta operates WhatsApp and Facebook. If you contact us through either, your messages are handled by those services.
• Our technicians and any contractors working on your job.
• Our accountants, insurers and legal advisers, where needed.
• Government agencies or regulators, when the law requires or allows it.

Each of these providers handles information under its own privacy policy.

Some of the services we use, including Netlify (website hosting and form submissions), Google (Google Analytics, if you accept analytics cookies, and Google Maps) and Meta (WhatsApp), may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We use established providers that publish their security and privacy practices.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use this website, for example which pages they visit, how they found us, and whether they call, send a WhatsApp message, use the chat or request a quote. This helps us improve the site. Google Analytics uses cookies (their names start with _ga) and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We do not use it to identify you, and we do not send your name, phone number, email address or message to Google Analytics.

Analytics only runs if you agree. When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you opt out, we stop analytics and remove the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. We do not use advertising cookies, and advertising features in Google Analytics are switched off.

Google processes this data under its own terms. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can also block analytics across all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

The map on our contact page only loads if you click "Show map". Google may then set its own cookies. Links to WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access. This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to form submissions is limited to people who need it to do their work.

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as long as the law requires. After that, we delete it or de-identify it.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it's wrong. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm your identity first.

If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

Some images on this website are AI-generated illustrations of pests and pest problems. Other photos are by third-party photographers, used under their licences and listed on our photo credits page. None of these images show our customers, their homes or their personal information.

If you think an image is inaccurate, misleading or uses your content or likeness without permission, please tell us using the contact details below and we will look into it promptly.
